How Lumint works

Lumint needs no interface and no IT project. It sees the screen and operates keyboard and mouse the way a careful employee would. In three steps:

Before Lumint enters anything, every value is checked against the original document. Whatever is unclear or incomplete is not guessed: uncertain cases become a draft, and you decide.

Lumint operates your on-screen forms with keyboard and mouse, enters the verified data and closes the case. Every click and every entry is logged without gaps, traceable for you and for any audit.

Why Agentic Now exists

In more than twenty years in the IT industry I have seen the same thing again and again: in the offices of mid-sized companies, qualified staff transfer data by hand every day. From e-mails into business software, from documents into forms, from one system into the next. Not because it makes sense, but because the software has no interface and replacing it is too expensive, too risky or simply not wanted.

Conventional IT projects fail at exactly this point. Standard software demands that the company adapt to it. And most AI offerings stop at strategy and slide decks.

Who is behind it

My name is Carsten Scheunemann. My experience in IT and general management goes back to 1997. I spent the last two decades in leadership roles in the IT industry, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of TIMETOACT GROUP, and before that many years at NTT DATA with responsibility for sales, delivery and results, among other roles as an Extended Board Member of the DACH organisation. I started out as an industrial engineer and IT architect at IBM.

I know back-office work in mid-sized companies not from a consultant’s perspective, but from the inside: from running organisations with hundreds of employees, carrying responsibility for margins and for processes that simply have to work. I know what manual work really costs, and why it persists so stubbornly.

Agentic Now is the consistent answer to that: the technical depth of modern AI automation, combined with an operational understanding of how mid-sized companies actually work.

Do we need an interface or an IT project for Lumint?

No. Lumint operates your existing software directly through the on-screen interface, exactly as an employee would. Your IT remains untouched.

What happens if Lumint is not sure it understands something?

Safety comes first: anything unclear or incomplete is not guessed. The case is marked as a draft and goes to your team with all the information prepared. You decide.

How does Lumint differ from conventional automation (RPA)?

Conventional RPA breaks as soon as a button moves or a wording changes. Lumint understands the content and adapts. It reads and operates the screen like a person, not like a rigid script.

Does Lumint also work with older software that has no modern interfaces?

Yes, and that is where its strength shows most clearly. It works with any software that can be displayed on a screen, including legacy systems and older ERP or industry-specific applications.

How long does it take to go live?

Because no integration project is required, a first assistant is usually in productive use in under 30 days.

Where do the AI models run, and what happens to our data?

All data remains in Germany and the EU. Your data is not used to train AI models. On request, Lumint runs entirely on-premise within your own infrastructure.

How traceable are Lumint’s actions?

Completely. Every step is documented with a timestamp, input values and a review log, suitable for internal audit, external audit and internal control systems.

Does Lumint replace our employees?

No. Lumint takes over the routine nobody enjoys: typing, sorting, recording. Your team gains time for what people do better: customers, exceptions, decisions. Lumint works hand in hand with your team, not in its place.

Is Lumint an AI agent or a “digital worker”?

Technically yes: Lumint belongs to the family of AI agents, often also called digital workers or a digital workforce. We deliberately speak of digital assistants , because Lumint relieves your team rather than replacing it. It takes on the routine and works hand in hand with your staff.

What does a Lumint assistant cost?
